Man rushed to hospital after broad daylight attack by mystery thug on Scots footpath

A man has been rushed to hospital after a broad daylight attack on a Scots footpath yesterday afternoon.

The 48-year-old was walking on Cowlairs Road, Springburn, when he was assaulted by an unknown thug around 1pm.

He was raced to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment to a serious back injury.
