A man has been rushed to hospital after being found seriously injured in Glasgow.
Emergency crews were called to Maryhill Road in the city shorty before 6am today, Saturday March 12, following reports of a man injured.
The 26-year-old is currently being treated in Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for his injuries.
Police Scotland has also confirmed that a 25-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
She is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, March 14.
A spokesperson for the national force said: "Around 5.50am on Saturday, 12 March, 2022, officers were called to a report of a 26-year-old man having been seriously injured on Maryhill Road, Glasgow.
"Emergency services attended and the man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
"A 25-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, 14 March."
