A man was rushed to hospital this afternoon after an assault at a city centre apartment block.
The incident happened at around 1:10pm at Pearse House in Dublin 2. Gardai and emergency services attended the scene and the man was brought to St James' Hospital for treatment.
Thankfully, his injuries are understood to be non-life threatening. A garda investigation into the incident is underway.

A garda spokesman said: "Gardai are investigating an assault that occurred at a property in Pearse House, Dublin 2, at approximately 1:10pm this afternoon, Tuesday 8 November 2022.
"He was taken to St James Hospital to be treated for his injuries which are understood to be non-life threatening. No arrests have been made, investigations are ongoing."
