Welsh Rugby Union performance coach manager Dan Clements is leaving the governing body to take up a role in English football.
Highly thought of within the union, he will take on the role of head of coach development with the Football Association of England in the new year.
“I’m looking forward to it,” he said. “It will be a similar role to the one I’ve had with the WRU, looking at processes and systems and how to develop coaches within the game. The aim will be to provide effective coaching environments for people across the game, from men’s, women’s, grassroots through to elite. I'd say it will have a broader brief to my role in Wales. It’s an exciting position.”
