A man was shoved onto train tracks in a terrifying random attack as a second victim was assaulted too.
Police are desperately hunting a man who shoved a victim onto the tracks of a London Underground tube line.
The harrowing incident took place just minutes after he assaulted another victim.
Now detectives are trying to identify the man responsible for the two seemingly random attacks.
The first attack took place today at 11:50am at Baker Street station, before the second victim was pushed onto the tracks just after midday at Finchley Road station.
The British Transport Police released an image of the man in connection with the two assaults.
Thankfully neither victim sustained serious injuries in what could have been a fatal attack - officers also believe that the parties involved did not know one another.
Detective Inspector Paul Watts, said: “Following these concerning incidents, we want to trace this man at the earliest opportunity and we are appealing for the public’s help to establish his whereabouts.
“If you see someone matching this image, please contact police urgently by calling 999 and referencing 517 of 27/10/22. Please do not approach them.
“This investigation is moving at pace and we would like to reassure the public that we’ll have a highly visible presence of officers on the network in London throughout this evening looking out for your safety.”
