Man missing from Scots coastal village for two days sparks police search

A man who has disappeared from a coastal village in Aberdeenshire for two days has sparked a police search. Lewis Adams vanished from the Portsoy area on the afternoon of Wednesday, September 14.

The 47-year-old has not been seen or heard from since, prompting officers to ask for the public's help as part of their ongoing efforts to trace him.

It is not the first time the man has been reported missing. Lewis also disappeared last month, on Saturday, August 20, but was traced a few days later.

Lewis is described as being 6ft tall, of large build with brown receding hair. He was wearing grey joggers and Adidas trainers when he vanished.

Cops now want to hear from anyone who may have seen Lewis or have any information they think may be relevant to his whereabouts.

People with any details that could benefit the search bid should contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 2281 of 14 September.
