A popular man remains missing days after he told his family he was getting the bus home.
Merseyside Police issued an appeal for missing south Liverpool man Matthew Dillon. The 46-year-old was last seen leaving his home address in Armitage Gardens, Mossley Hill on Monday, January 2.
A police spokesperson said Mr Dillon's family is "increasingly concerned" for his wellbeing. In a public post Mr Dillon's younger sister Lizzy Hankinson said "it's completely out of character for him to do this".

Ms Hankinson added: "His phone battery has gone so we have no way of contacting him and he is not at work...said he was getting the 80A home last night from Liverpool city centre to Booker Avenue, south Liverpool, and should be in 10.30pm but then heard nothing else. Last seen on WhatsApp at 10.29pm last night. Any help or leads would be greatly appreciated."
Sharing a further appeal yesterday, January 4 the ReAleLiverpool Twitter page said: "Sadly there is still no news on the whereabouts of Matt since Monday night. If you have seen him since then or have any info please get in contact. Matt usually wears a hat or cap and you may be more likely to recognise him like that."
Merseyside Police described Mr Dillon as white, of large build, with short, sandy hair, and wearing glasses. He was last seen wearing a blue anorak, cargo trousers and carrying a cross-shoulder messenger bag.
