An experienced eBay seller says he can make as much as £1,000 a month selling unwanted items on the site.
James McHutchison, 31, said this time of year was a good opportunity to have a clear-out of belongings and make some extra cash by selling them on. His big wins include a French watch that he sold for £470.
Speaking to the Mirror, James said: "Everybody ends up accumulating a lot of unnecessary stuff over Christmas, so I think January is the perfect time to wipe the slate clean and sort out what you really need.”
