World-renowned food artist and former Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalist, Nathan Wyburn has celebrated Britain’s Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon in a new portrait made entirely out of biscuits. Taking over three days to complete, The Welsh-born food artist created the masterpiece using over 644 biscuits including McVitie’s Chocolate Digestives, Hobnobs and Rich Teas.
Crafted to the likeness of the former popstar turned presenter, Nathan created the bespoke artwork sculpting the singer’s features using a mosaic technique from both full and broken biscuits. Nathan’s entire creative process was captured in a short film showcasing the attention to detail required to create the likeness and how biscuits were used to bring the portrait to life.
Nathan Wyburn first stunned audiences during his audition on Britain’s Got Talent series five, in which he created a toast-inspired portrait of then judge and comedian Michael McIntyre. Nathan’s unique talent saw him soar to the semi-final before ultimately losing out on a BGT Final spot.
