One of the men killed in the A66 crash was awaiting trial over alleged crimes against police officers, court records show.

Makai Saddington, 18, was among those pronounced dead at the scene in Teesside on Saturday after a Volkswagen Passat being driven the wrong way along a dual carriageway after being pursued by police hit an unmarked armed response vehicle.
