A man was left needing hospital treated after five men burst into his house in Grangemouth and robbed him.
The terrifying ordeal happened to the 33-year-old on Croftside Court in the town at around 10:30pm on Monday March 28.
Officers say that all of the suspects are believed to have had Eastern European accents, and fled the scene in a grey Audi car.
It's not known if those involved were known to each other, or the extent of injuries the victim sustained.
Police Scotland is asking anyone with CCTV footage or dashcam footage of the incident to get in touch on 101.
Detective Constable Gavin Grant, of Forth Valley CID, said: "I would ask anyone who knows anything about this incident, saw a vehicle matching the description or people acting suspiciously around the area to contact us.
"We are also keen for any local residents with private CCTV or possible dashcam footage to please come forward.
"Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 3808 of Monday, 28 March, 2022.
"Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
