A man was in a "stand off" with police after climbing on the roof of a house.
Officers were called to Woolfall Crescent in Page Moss at around 4.30pm today to reports of a man on the roof. The road was cordoned off by Merseyside Police and Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service placed a ladder on the side of a house.
The cordon was in place down to Alyton Road. One reader told the ECHO there was a "massive police presence" because of a "man on a roof" and all the area was "taped off".
