A pedestrian is fighting for life after being hit by a motorbike in south London.
The man, in his 50s, was seriously injured on Kennington Lane, near Vauxhall.
Metropolitan Police officers on patrol came upon the collision at about 3.20pm on Wednesday.
London Ambulance Service also attended and took the pedestrian to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
His family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
The rider stopped at the scene and was also taken to hospital for treatment to minor injuries.
Road closures remain in place while officers examine the scene.

Four bus services are diverted away from the A3 Kennington Park Road, Canterbury Place and Braganza Street.
London Assembly member Marina Ahmad wrote on X, formerly Twitter: “Sad to hear of an accident this afternoon. My best wishes to the seriously injured pedestrian.”
Detectives from the Met’s Roads and Transport Policing Command are leading the investigation. They would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision or captured it on dash cam.
