A man in his 20s was rushed to hospital after being stabbed in Rochdale. Police were called to 'a disturbance' involving two vehicles on Entwisle Road yesterday (June 6) at around 6.40pm.
Police believe that the man was then stabbed in nearby Hey Street in 'a related incident'. No arrests have been made and both vehicles have been recovered while investigations continue.
Social media posts showed that a cordon was placed on the junction between Entwisle Road and Hovingham Street, which leads onto Hey Street.

A spokesperson for GMP said: "We were called at around 6.40pm on Monday 6 June to reports of a disturbance involving two vehicles in the Entwisle Road area of Rochdale.
"It is believed that a man in his 20s suffered stab wounds on Hey Street in a related incident. Both vehicles have been recovered and enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances. No arrests have been made."
A spokesperson for NWAS said: "We’ve responded to a police incident on Hey Street, Rochdale following a 999 call at 18.53. A male patient was taken to hospital."
