A man in his 20s has died after he was found unresponsive in a nightclub in Newcastle city centre in the early hours of New Year's Day.
Officers from Northumbria Police attended the scene shortly after 2.30am on January 1 after reports that a man in his 20s was reportedly unresponsive inside the Hustle nightclub premise on Newgate Street.
The man was taken to hospital by ambulance crews but sadly, he was sadly pronounced dead a short while after.

Specialist officers are now supporting the man's loved ones following their tragic loss.
A Northumbria Police spokesperson said: “Shortly after 2.30am on January 1 we were made aware that a man in his 20s was unresponsive inside a nightclub premises on Newgate Street, Newcastle.
“He was taken to hospital by ambulance but was sadly pronounced dead a short while after.
“His loved ones are being supported by specialist officers. A report has been prepared for the coroner.”
