A man charged after a body was found encased in concrete at a Brisbane transport depot will remain behind bars after being extradited to Queensland.
Dewald de Klerk, 27, did not appear when the matter was mentioned in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Friday.
De Klerk is charged with accessory after the fact to murder and misconduct with a corpse by interfering relating to the alleged murder of Andrew Walsh.
The Fortitude Valley man was allegedly trying to leave the country when arrested by Federal Police at Sydney International Airport this week.
He was extradited to Queensland on Thursday and has been remanded in custody for mention on May 16.
Police will allege Mr Walsh was murdered around November 8 and de Klerk helped to dispose of the remains between November 7 and February 14.
Mr Walsh's body was found buried in concrete after police drilled into the floor of the Coopers Plains building's workshop during a three week search.
Police made the grisly find after linking the disappearance of Mr Walsh and another missing man, Lachlan Griffiths, to the depot in Brisbane's south.
Mr Griffiths' body has not been found, but a 40-year-old Tingalpa man has been arrested in relation to his suspected homicide.
Mr Walsh was reported missing by family in the north Queensland town of Mossman in January, however detectives believe the 35-year-old was last seen alive in Logan in November.
Mr Griffiths, also 35, was last seen in Brisbane's city centre in January before his mother reported him missing on Australia Day.
