A man was hospitalised last night following a stabbing incident in Naas, Co Kildare.
The assault happened just after 7.30pm last night at a bus stop near the post office in the town centre. According to local reports the man was left with a serious wound to the face.
Gardai confirmed to Dublin Live that the man was taken to hospital for his injuries but that they are not life threatening. No arrests have been made and the investigation continues into the incident.

A garda spokeswoman told Dublin Live last night: "Gardaí are investigating an alleged assault that occurred in Naas, Co. Kildare this evening, 5 October 2022 at approximately 7.40pm. A male was taken to Naas General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Investigations are ongoing."
