A man has been hospitalised following an incident in Rialto earlier today.
Footage seen by Dublin Live shows a man sitting on a ledge outside a window on an upper floor of a building, with swarms of emergency services beneath him. Gardai, Dublin Fire Brigade and ambulances were all at the scene.
Part of the South Circular Road was shut while the event was ongoing. Gardai are making enquiries into the incident and told Dublin Live that the man is receiving treatment at St James's Hospital.

A garda spokesman said: "A man was conveyed to St James's Hospital for treatment of injuries received following an incident that occurred in the Rialto area of Dublin City earlier this afternoon, Wednesday, 26th of April 2023.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
