A man was horrified to find an intruder standing over his girlfriend as she slept. Craig - who has asked to only be referred to by his first name - had to throw punches at the would-be burglar to get him to hand over items he'd pocketed.
The 33-year-old then bundled the man out of his 10th-floor Stockport flat. Police have confirmed they are hunting the man, who Craig says has left his partner 'badly shaken' and him feeling unsafe in his own home.
The drama unfolded early on Tuesday morning (April 25) when Craig went out to walk his dog as his partner, who doesn't live with him but was staying the night, carried on sleeping in the bedroom of his flat in Ludlow Towers in Brinnington.
