A man has been hit by a bin lorry on a Cumbernauld road and rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
The crash happened at around 12.10pm today on the Main Road in Condorrat, Cumbernauld.
Emergency services rushed to the scene and the 58-year-old man who was hit by the lorry was rushed to hospital. His condition has been described as "serious but not life-threatening".

The Health and Safety Executive have been made aware of the incident and police enquiries into the collision remain ongoing, the Daily Record reports.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.10pm on Friday, 20 May, 2022, police were called to the Main Road area of Condorrat, Cumbernauld, following a report of a road crash involving a bin lorry and a 58-year-old man.

"The man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment and his injuries are believed to be serious, but not life-threatening.
"The Health and Safety Executive has been made aware and enquiries into the incident remain ongoing.”
