A man was seriously injured after being hit by a car in Allerton.
Merseyside Police were called to Stamfordham Drive at around 11.30am on Monday, November 28 after reports of a crash. Once at the scene, officers found there had been a collision between a black Kia and a man.
The male pedestrian suffered a serious leg injury. Emergency services confirmed the driver stopped at the scene.

In a statement at the time of the incident, Merseyside Police said: "We are currently in attendance following a report of a road traffic collision involving a pedestrian and a car in Allerton. We received a report at around 11.30am that a male pedestrian was involved in a collision with a black Kia on Stamfordham Drive.
"The male has sustained a serious leg injury. The driver stopped at the scene. Emergency services will remain at the scene until the incident is dealt with."
