Man held for sexual abuse of minor girl

Kochi Kochi City

KOCHI: Kochi City police on Thursday arrested a 50-year-old man for sexually abusing a minor school girl.

Shaji alias Saji of Mattancherry is the arrested. The accused had sexually abused the minor girl and had gone into hiding.

A team of officers led by Mattancherry ACP and Palluruthy CI arrested the accused, police said. tnn

(The victim's identity has not been revealed to protect her privacy as per Supreme court directives on cases related to sexual assault)
