A man has been found dead in floodwater at Nathalia, north-west of Shepparton in Victoria.
Victoria Police confirmed the 65-year-old man was found in water in Paynes Road this morning.
Concerns were raised yesterday after the man failed to return home.
Emergency services searched the area and found his unoccupied tractor.
A relative found the man's body.
It's the second flood-related death in five days, after a 71-year-old man was found dead in the backyard of his home at Rochester.
Farmer Jim Grinter lives on the Goulburn River flood plain between Bunbartha and Nathalia and told the Victorian Country Hour the man who died was his neighbour.
He spoke to the man's wife last night.
"She rang me for help last night and I couldn't even get out," Mr Grinter said.
"He went out into the floodwater on a tractor, that's about all I know, and about 11 o'clock last night the police helicopter was searching."
