A Birkenhead man told his doctor he "didn't have any thoughts of suicide" one day before he was found dead in his supported accommodation.
Callum Jones, 28, was found dead in bed in his Prenton Road West flat on November 4 2022 after a friend living in the same accommodation block became worried as she had not seen him all day.
A post-mortem and toxicology report found fatal amounts of cocaine and various different prescription drugs in his system.

At an inquest in Liverpool today, the court heard that the oil rig worker, had visited his GP the day before he died and asked for additional painkillers to help his ongoing back pain ahead of an operation he was due to undergo later that month. He told his GP he "didn't have any thoughts of suicide or deliberate self harm".
He was last seen alive at around 8pm on November 3, when he returned to his supported living accommodation looking "tearful" and told a friend his partner's father had been put on end of life care.
The following day, Callum's nan visited the flats, but was unable to get through to her grandson. After not hearing from Callum all day, his friend raised the alarm at 7.45pm, and a member of staff used a master key to open his door, which had been jammed from the inside with a dumbbell.
After finding Callum, the staff member called 999. CPR was carried out by both staff and paramedics, but the 28-year-old could not be revived, and he was pronounced dead at the scene at 8.46pm.
Handing down a narrative conclusion of death by mixed drug toxicity caused by the consumption of prescription medication and cocaine, coroner Anita Bhardwaj said: "It's unclear as to why Callum consumed excessive amounts of prescription drugs, along with the high concentration of cocaine."
