A man has been found dead at his Renfrew home.
Police were alerted to the death of the 53-year-old male at a property on Paisley Road in the town around 11am on Sunday, January 22.
They have confirmed that there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the man’s death but it is being treated as unexplained with a report due to be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
However, the property was cordoned off yesterday and a tent was erected outside while officers investigated the sudden death.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of the sudden death of a 53-year-old man on Paisley Road, Renfrew around 10.55am on Sunday, January 22.
“The death is currently being treated as unexplained but non-suspicious. A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.”
