A large emergency services was reported after a man was found dead at a bus station.
Police were called on Tuesday, July 4 to reports of a concern for welfare of a man near Ellesmere Port Interchange at 1.49pm. Officers arrived on the Civic Way and a 77-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Eyewitnesses at the scene said they saw "lots of blue lights" in attendance. The man's next of kin have neen informed and Cheshire Police said there are no suspicious circumstances.

A spokesperson for the force said: "At 1.49pm on Tuesday 4 July, officers were called following concerns for the welfare of a man near Ellesmere Port Interchange. Officers attended the scene on Civic Way, Ellesmere Port, where sadly a 77-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
"His next of kin have been informed and there are no suspicious circumstances.”
