Manhunt as tobacco shop arsonist 'left for dead'

An on-the-run arsonist has been scolded for leaving his mate for dead after a bungled tobacco store firebombing.

CCTV footage shows a white ute reversing into The Boss Tobacconist at Melton in Melbourne's outer northwest in the early hours of Thursday before two men exited with jerry cans.
