A man has died in an Edinburgh hospital four days after an alleged attempted murder.
Emergency crews were called to reports of an alleged incident in Barony Court, Bo'ness, Falkirk on Wednesday. Douglas Struthers was found at the scene with 'life-threatening' injuries and rushed to the Royal infirmary of Edinburgh.
The 62-year-old died on Saturday. Police confirmed that a 24-year-old man was arrested and charged with attempted murder and appeared at Falkirk Sheriff Court on Friday, the Record reports. Officers said enquiries remain ongoing.

They previously stated that the alleged incident was being treated as 'isolated'.
A Police Scotland statement read: “A 62-year-old man who was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries following an incident in Bo’ness has now died. The man, who can now be named as Douglas Struthers, was seriously injured within a property in Barony Court on Wednesday, September 14.
"He was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, however died today, Saturday, September 17. A 24-year-old man was arrested and charged with attempted murder and appeared at Falkirk Sheriff Court on Friday, September 16.
"Enquiries are ongoing.”
