A man in his 30s has died after a workplace accident in Co Meath.
The tragic incident happened in Castletown shortly after 12.30pm on Tuesday afternoon. The man suffered fatal injuries.
A garda spokeswoman confirmed that the Health and Safety Authority and the local coroner had been notified of the incident.
In a statement, the spokeswoman said: "Gardai responded to reports of a workplace accident in the Castletown area of Meath shortly after 12.30pm yesterday afternoon, Tuesday, 20th June 2023. A man aged in his 30s suffered fatal injuries.
"The HSA and local coroner have been notified."
