A man has died after falling while climbing in Snowdonia.

Two climbers noticed the man at the foot of Cneifion Arete near Llanberis at around 11.30am on Saturday, June 11. Mountain rescue crews and a coastguard helicopter were called out to the incident, reports NorthWalesLive.

Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue Team said that when they arrived, it was "evident that a climber had taken a significant fall and sustained very serious injuries". The mountain rescue team provided first aid and bought the two climbers to safety.
