A man has died after an incident at a Glasgow building site this morning.
Emergency service s attended the incident on Stepford Road, in the city's East End, around 10.50am after a man was injured.
Sadly, the man could not be saved and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
The Health and Safety Executive has been informed.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers received a report of a 44-year-old man having been injured at a building site on Stepford Road in Glasgow around 10.50am on Wednesday, 11 May, 2022.
"Emergency services attended, however, the man died at the scene.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and the Health and Safety Executive has been informed.”
