A man has denied sexually assaulting two women on separate occasions after meeting them on a dating app.
Aitamoit Mon, 31, faced the ACT Magistrates Court on Thursday, September 10, where defence lawyer Michael Kukulies-Smith entered not-guilty pleas to a string of sexual assault charges on his behalf.
The fresh pleas mean Mon now denies every charge brought against him across both matters.
Police allege Mon assaulted the first woman and subjected her to multiple non-consensual sexual acts at his Taylor home on June 27, 2026, after meeting her online.
The woman reported the alleged assault to police in June and provided a formal statement to officers in August.
Over this alleged attack, he faces charges including four counts of committing an act of indecency without consent, and one count each of common assault and attempted sexual intercourse without consent - all of which he denies.
Police allege Mon assaulted and raped the second woman at his home on July 25 after communicating with her for several weeks on a dating app.
She reported the alleged assault to police on July 27, prompting an investigation that led to Mon's arrest on July 30.
Mon has pleaded not guilty to six charges stemming from the second alleged attack, including three counts of sexual intercourse without consent, two counts of common assault, and one count of sexual assault in the third degree.
He has also pleaded not guilty to 10 charges of failing to report as required.
The accused man remains remanded in custody and will return to court at a later date.
