A man died in a property after police were called following concerns for his welfare. The man, who has not been named publicly, died in a house on Mayals Road in Swansea on Tuesday evening.
South Wales Police confirmed officers attended the scene, alongside paramedics, but despite the efforts of the emergency services the 75-year-old man was declared deceased at the scene.
The news come after locals reported a heavy police and ambulance service presence on Mayals Road throughout the evening of Tuesday, June 14.

In a statement, detective inspector Gareth Jones of South Wales Police explained: "South Wales Police was called around 8.15pm last night by the Welsh Ambulance Service following concerns for the welfare of a man in a house on Mayals Road, Swansea.
"Despite the efforts of the emergency services a 75-year-old man was declared dead at the scene. There are no suspicious circumstances and his next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers."
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson added: "We were called yesterday (Tuesday 14 June) at 8:06pm to reports of an incident on Mayals Road, Swansea. We sent one emergency ambulance, one rapid response vehicle and a duty operational manager to the scene."
