A man is in a critical condition after a serious assault at a Luas stop in Dublin.
Gardai are investigating the attack, which happened near the IFSC in George's Dock, Dublin 1 on Sunday evening, August 7.
Shortly before 9pm that evening, the man, aged in his 20s, received serious head injuries and was taken to the Mater Misericordiae Hospital, where he remains in a critical condition tonight.
A technical examination of the scene was conducted this morning.
Gardai are now appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
Officers are particularly interested in speaking to anyone who was in the Georges Dock/Irish Financial Services Centre (IFSC) and surrounding areas between 7pm and 9.30pm on the evening of Sunday 7th August, 2022.
