Taylor Swift 's dramatic week has taken another turn after a man crashed into her home and reportedly told police he refused to leave until he met the singer.
The star made headlines recently after firing back at Blur's Damon Albarn for suggesting that she doesn't write her own songs - something she famously does.
And now, a man has ploughed his car into her New York home.
TMZ reports that the man was arrested on the scene after driving the wrong way down the street before reversing and striking the building and a fire hydrant.
The man is said to have got out of his car and walked over to the intercom system before trying to rip it out of the wall while mumbling about the Shake It Off hitmaker.
Pictures obtained by the US site show wires hanging out of the intercom, which has suffered serious damage.
Sources say that someone called 911 and that NYPD officers arrived on scene to take the man into custody and to a nearby hospital.
And it's said that he tried to refuse to leave the property, telling officers he wouldn't go until Taylor came out to meet him.
Police say the man was drunk and that he's facing potential charges of driving while intoxicated and criminal mischief.
It's not known if Taylor was home at the time of the incident, and it's also not the first time a man has been arrested on her property.
Meanwhile, Park Life singer Damon has issued a grovelling apology to Taylor after his suggestion that she didn't write her own songs.
His comments came during a chat with the LA Times when he praised the songwriting abilities of Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas, who work together to pen her songs.
His interview had been teased in a tweet which read: "Albarn also spills his thoughts on some of today's chart-topping music artists. Billie Eilish? 'I think she’s exceptional'. Taylor Swift? 'She doesn’t write her own songs'."
Taylor hit back: "@DamonAlbarn I was such a big fan of yours until I saw this. I write ALL of my own songs. Your hot take is completely false and SO damaging. You don’t have to like my songs but it’s really f**ked up to try and discredit my writing. WOW."
She sarcastically added: "PS I wrote this tweet all by myself in case you were wondering."
Damon responded: "I totally agree with you. i had a conversation about songwriting and sadly it was reduced to clickbait.
"I apologise unreservedly and unconditionally. The last thing I would want to do is discredit your songwriting. I hope you understand. - Damon."
The Mirror has contacted Taylor's representatives for comment.
