Man claims ownership of historic Qutub Minar complex, says he's a descendant of Tomar king

In a bizarre incident, a self-proclaimed ‘descendant of Tomar King’ has claimed the ownership of land of which Qutub Minar stands, one of India's most prominent monuments in Delhi.

In his plea, Kunwar Mahender Dhwaj Prasad Singh has said that the land and complex where the historical Qutub Minar stands today belongs to his family. He said that the land is owned by the Beswan Family and heir of Raja Rohini Raman Dhawaj Prasad Singh and descendants of Raja Nand Ram, who died in 1695.
