Man City XI vs Fulham: Confirmed team news, lineup and injury latest for FA Cup match today

Manchester City are without Gabriel Jesus for today’s FA Cup tie with Fulham after the striker picked up a knock on Brazil duty.

Pep Guardiola confirmed the Brazilian’s “niggles” when addressing the media on Friday, with Jesus featuring off the bench in his nation’s 4-0 win over Paraguay in midweek.

The only other confirmed absentee for the Saturday 3pm kick-off is Cole Palmer, who the City boss confirmed picked up an injury in the third-round win over Swindon. The club will monitor the youngster’s progress over the coming weeks.

One player who could feature in the fourth-round clash at the Etihad Stadium is Riyad Mahrez. The Algerian winger was given an extra week off following his country’s early Africa Cup of Nations exit and is now available for selection.

“Perfect,” Guardiola said of Mahrez. “Everyone is sharp, the week off was good. Everyone is good. He is so strong, he puts behind the good and bad things so quickly, and handles the pressure. Not a problem.”

Young midfielder James McAtee may be named in the squad after rejecting a loan move away from Manchester on transfer deadline day.

Man City XI: Steffen; Walker, Stones, Ake, Cancelo; De Bruyne, Fernandinho, Gundogan; Mahrez, Foden, Grealish.
