Man City XI vs Aston Villa: Starting lineup, confirmed team news, injury latest for Premier League today

Pep Guardiola will name his final Manchester City line-up this afternoon, which sees Erling Haaland given the day off.

Today’s visit of Aston Villa is a dead-rubber, meaning emotional farewells will take centre stage.

Defender John Stones and midfielder Bernardo Silva have already announced they will depart the Etihad Stadium this summer, wand on Friday it was confirmed that legendary manager ep Guardiola will also leave at the end of the campaign. Both start today.

Ruben Dias has found gametime hard to come by in recent weeks, but as a long-standing partner of Stones at the back, the two share a pitch for one final time.

Silva captained City in the FA Cup final last weekend, and line-ups alongside the returning Nico Gonzalez in the middle of the park, with Rodri rested.

January signing Antoine Semenyo gave City hope in the title race, and the Ghanaian international will aim to continue his good form on the final day.

With little to play for, Savinho gets a rare start with Omar Marmoush on the bench.
