Manchester City face Sevilla at the Etihad on Wednesday night in a Champions League Group G fixture that lacks any jeopardy at all for the home side.
City's place in the knockout stages as group winners is secure thanks to their draw in Dortmund last week but defeat for Sevilla might see them lose third spot and a place in the Europa League to Copenhagen, should the Danes get something against Dortmund.
So, this is a tricky fixture for punters because Pep Guardiola looks sure to make changes to his starting eleven and it looks almost certain the hosts will again be without star striker Erling Haaaland. With that in mind, steaming into City at a restrictive 2/9 with Betfred looks a potentially dangerous strategy.
Sevilla, who will be desperate to secure that third spot, are 12/1 to cause the upset by winning just their second game in the section.
The issue for anyone looking to take City on here is primarily the fact that Sevilla don't really look in any sort of shape to cause the upset. They have won just three of their 17 games in all competitions this season and sit third bottom of the La Liga table. Furthermore, they were on the receiving end of a pasting in the reverse fixture on matchday one.
Jorge Sampaoli hasn't really made much of an impact since taking over from Julen Lopetegui and the weekend defeat to Rayo Vallecano was a real blow.
However, the weekend aside, Sevilla do tend to score in their matches. Saturday's 1-0 defeat was the first time in eight successive games in which they failed to score at least once and that could be the betting angle into this.
