The focus at Premier League champions Manchester City is now on outgoings, with the high-profile departures of Gabriel Jesus and Raheem Sterling edging closer.
Arsenal and City are close to agreeing a £50million agreement for Brazil striker Jesus to move from the Etihad to the Emirates, with a deal expected to be finalised in the coming days.
Chelsea are stepping up their efforts to sign Sterling, who has entered the final year of his contract, with Stamford Bridge boss Thomas Tuchel understood to have made contact with the England winger.
Sterling has lost his status as a automatic pick under City boss Pep Guardiola, starting just 23 Premier League games last season, and feels a move to play more regularly, with the World Cup later this year, is what his career needs right now.

Jesus, who has scored 58 goals in 159 Premier League matches, as well as winning the title four times since moving to the Etihad in 2016 in a £27million deal from Palmeiras, will become Arsenal's fourth summer signing. Deals for his compatriot Marquinhos, goalkeeper Matt Turner and Portuguese midfielder Fabio Vieira have already been signed off.
