After the double signing of Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez, and the imminent arrival of Kalvin Phillips from Leeds, Manchester City's focus has switched from incomings to outgoings.
With Gabriel Jesus on his way to Arsenal in a £45m deal, he could soon be followed out of the Etihad Stadium by a few other players as Pep Guardiola attempts to reduce his squad to a manageable size and trim the wage bill in the process.
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel seems particularly keen to raid City's squad for players as he attempts to rebuild his side after several departures this summer. Mirror Sport has rounded up the latest transfer news and rumours.
Chelsea in for second City star
Raheem Sterling is wanted by new Chelsea owner Todd Boehly as he begins his new era in charge of the London club. But Chelsea have also made an approach to City defender Nathan Ake according to reports. The Premier League champions are understood to willing to let both players leave, as long as their respective valuations are met. Regarding Ake the Daily Telegraph claim Tuchel was interested in signing Ake while he was in charge of Borussia Dortmund and it appeals to the Chelsea boss that the 27-year-old can slot in to the left side of a back three. Ake previously spent seven years at Chelsea, joining them at the age of 15 and it is thought that he would be keen on a return, having failed establish himself at the Etihad.

Or even three...
The Daily Mail claim Chelsea could even make a treble swoop for City players with Oleksandr Zinchenko also "added to their transfer wishlist". Tuchel is trying to strengthen his defensive backline with a number of defensive departures from Stamford Bridge. The Ukraine defender, who has been strongly with Everton, is keen on regular first-team football which has not been the case under Guardiola. The story states that "Owner Boehly and Tuchel have discussed the possibility of signing the trio" although it could prove "tough to persuade Guardiola's side to strengthen one of their challengers by allowing all three to make the jump to Stamford Bridge".
Leeds eye McAtee
Leeds want to sign City's promising young midfielder James McAtee, according to reports. As well as Leeds, fellow Premier League sides Brighton and Southampton are also said to be tracking the 19-year-old, who has played six times for City's first-team. Team Talk claim that Leeds hope their "good relations with City will lead to a deal for 19-year-old McAtee" and that could help pave the way for the youngster to swap the Etihad for Elland Road.
