Danny Mills has told Manchester City that they "will be back in the game", as they look to claw back the five-point gap to league leaders Arsenal, who are facing a "real problem" with Gabriel Jesus' knee injury.
Mikel Arteta's process at Arsenal has clicked into gear this season, as the former protégé of Pep Guardiola has seen the Gunners play what some might call, City-esque football. The Gunners have only lost one league game this season, a 3-1 defeat at the hands of the Blues' bitter rivals Manchester United.
City will find themselves five points behind the North London club when the season resumes. A trip to Elland Road against Leeds United sees Guardiola's side dust the cobwebs off after more than a month since their last Premier League game - a sobering 2-1 defeat at home to Brentford.

But Mills is adamant that City have what it takes to overcome Arsenal, as the former Blue highlights the knee injury that Jesus suffered while on international duty with Brazil as a defining moment in this season's title race.
Mills, speaking on behalf of 888sport said: "I’ve always thought it’s going to be City and I think they will come good at some point, with the strength in depth that they have. Jesus is a real problem for Arsenal because he’s been integral to how good they’ve been. He’s out for three months but that could easily be four months.
"Generally with knee problems they last that little bit longer. So do they now go into the transfer market because he has been so important to them that it’s now going to be very difficult for Arsenal.
"It was always going to be difficult anyway, because City will come strong with their quality. And now Haaland has had a good break and got over any niggles while a lot of their players went out early, so they’ve not going to be as fatigued. Once they get their heads right, City will be back in the game, without a doubt.
"I’ve said from the very beginning, that they desire from City to win three in a row, and do what Manchester United did, will be a huge driving force in their desire to win the title."
