Bernardo Silva says Manchester City are in no mood to blow their chance of Champions League glory like they did two years ago.
Pep Guardiola's side face Inter Milan in the final next month after thumping holders Real Madrid 5-1 in aggregate in the semi-finals. City go into the final as favourites, but they were also expected to beat Chelsea in the final in 2021 - only to lose 1-0 in Porto.
Silva has warned his City team-mates to forget about taking anything for granted this time round as they set their sights on an historic treble. The Portuguese has told them two things they must do to ensure they finally get their hands on the European Cup.
City are aiming to become just the second team in history to win the Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup in the same season. The only side to achieve that feat to date are Manchester United, who did so under Sir Alex Ferguson 24 years ago.
City can clinch a third consecutive Premier League title this weekend. Guardiola's side will be crowned champions if Arsenal lose to Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Saturday or if they beat Chelsea on Sunday in their final home game of the campaign.
Even if Premier League results go against City this weekend, they will have two more chances to win the title against Brighton and Brentford. The second leg of City's treble quest will be at Wembley, where they take on Man Utd in the FA Cup final on June 3.

The final leg is the showdown against Inter on June 10, with Bernardo - who scored twice in the Real rout - confident City can get the job done. "Two years ago, everybody said that we were favourites against Chelsea and look what happened," said Silva.
"What we need to be is confident, but very respectful of Inter and try to win the final this time. Now we need to concentrate on a difficult match against an opponent that has knocked out Barcelona, along with many other tough opponents, who have shown a lot of quality in getting to the final and who we have a lot of respect for."
On City's bid for an historic Treble, Silva said: "There are three competitions to play for - and we can still win none, one, two or all three. We’ll see if we can lift the Premier League again this Sunday at home with our fans.
"From there, we have two more finals, which are both very difficult, against United and Inter, who are a very organised side. We’ll study them, follow the boss’s plan once more and try to give our fans everything that this club deserves.
"We’ll try to win it all. We know it will be difficult, but we’ll try."
Guardiola, meanwhile, said: "We're there now and the players can think about it, visualise it. We're three games away. One in each competition. We can do it."
