Manchester City will play Liverpool in the Champions League final should they overcome Real Madrid on Wednesday night.
Pep Guardiola's side take a 4-3 lead into the second leg as they look to secure a place in the Champions League final less than a year on from their defeat in last season's showpiece event. Guardiola has yet to claim the illustrious trophy with Blues as City's wait to be crowned European champions continues.
Liverpool took a two-goal lead to El Madrigal after coasting to victory in the first leg at Anfield. It wasn't as simple as many predicted in Spain as the home side wiped out Liverpool's two-goal lead with first-half goals from Boulaye Dia and Francis Coquelin.

But three goals in 12 minutes from the Merseyside outfit saw them safely through to the final. As a result, they set up the potential for another clash with their Premier League title rivals.
City will be hoping their trip to the Spanish capital will be smoother than their Etihad clash with the newly-crowned La Liga champions. Karim Benzema scored a brace as Real refused to lie down in their seven-goal thriller that eventually ended 4-3 to the home side.
City finished top of their Champions League group this season before comfortably seeing off Sporting Lisbon in the last 16. They then narrowly edged past Atletico Madrid in the quarter-final and will look to end the hopes of their rivals on Wednesday night.
