Manchester City supporters were made to wait to see the club’s new signings after their unveiling event was delayed by a medical emergency in the crowd.
Fans were packed around the Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon to get a glimpse of the club’s new acquisitions including in-demand forward Erling Haaland, young Argentine star Julian Alvarez and goalkeeper Stefan Ortega.
£45m man Kalvin Phillips was unfortunately not in attendance having been struck down with illness. Taking to Twitter, he wrote: “Really gutted that I wasn’t feeling well enough to make the @ManCity unveiling today. I’ll see you all soon, thanks for making me feel so welcome already.”
