Man City's fixtures 23-24 in full: Champions open season with Vincent Kompany showdown

Manchester City will kick off their defence of the Premier League title with a visit to newly-promoted Burnley.

Pep Guardiola's successfully retained the title last season before going on to complete a historic treble and will start their new campaign against a Burnley side managed by former City captain Vincent Kompany. Arsenal, who finished five points behind City in second last season, will come up against the champions in October and March.

In fact, March could prove to be a particularly challenging run of games for City, beginning with a derby clash against rivals Manchester United and followed by games against Liverpool, Brighton and Arsenal.

The festive fixtures are always of particular interest to fans and City are set to host Brentford on December 23, before making the trip to Everton on Boxing Day and then facing Sheffield United on December 30.

Their season will come to an end in May with games against Wolves, Fulham and West Ham where they will undoubtedly be hoping to wrap up a fourth consecutive Premier League title.

Here, Mirror Football looks at City's full fixture list for the 2023-24 campaign.
