Man City 'offered chance to sign Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar' and other transfer rumours

Manchester City have reportedly been offered the opportunity to sign PSG star Neymar at the end of the season.

It is claimed that although the French giants are not in any rush to sell the 31-year-old, they are open to the prospect of the winger leaving - reports 90min. Currently, the ex-Barcelona man's contract is due to expire in 2025.

With PSG's Champions League campaign in serious doubt after defeat to Bayern Munich in the first leg of their round of 16 tie, it is believed that Neymar may be looking for an exit route. Therefore, it is rumoured that people in the Brazilian's camp have sought out Premier League clubs offering the player's services.

Alongside City, the report claims that Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Newcastle United have also been contacted about the possibility of signing Neymar. So far this season, the PSG winger has scored 17 goals and grabbed 16 assists in 28 appearances.

Elsewhere, 90min also claims City are ready to spend big to bring West Ham United captain Declan Rice to the Etihad Stadium. The 24-year-old has been a standout player for David Moyes' side for some time now but with the Hammers struggling this season, the Englishman could be looking for options elsewhere.

It is claimed by the online media outlet that Rice would be brought into the club to provide another option in defensive midfield. At present, Rodri is City's first-choice defensive midfielder but his place has rarely been threatened by ex-Leeds star Kalvin Phillips who joined in the summer.

Rice's current deal at the London Stadium is expected to expire in 2024. Previously, Moyes has stated that he would cost a club £150m however the Hammers are unlikely to be able to command that fee with such little time left on his deal.
