- Manchester City have reportedly reached an agreement with Chelsea over a fee for midfielder Enzo Fernandez.
- Fernandez has been heavily linked with City throughout the summer and has not featured in Chelsea’s last two matches across all competitions.
- According to David Ornstein of The Athletic , a package worth up to £125 million has been agreed for Fernandez to join City .
- This would be a record British transfer fee and would see Chelsea make a profit on the Argentine player who they signed for £107m from Benfica in January 2023.
- Fernandez has now been granted permission to undergo his City medical as he looks to complete his move before Tuesday’s 11pm deadline.
