Manchester City have reportedly joined the race to sign West Ham midfielder Declan Rice.
Rivals Manchester United have already earmarked the England star as a top target. City are reportedly on the verge of completing the signing of Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund, and the Daily Mail report that there are enough funds available to also target Rice.
Fernandinho announced prior to the Atletico Madrid second leg that his time in Manchester was up and he would be leaving in the summer. With the Brazilian's exit on the horizon, it leaves a void in the midfield area that Pep Guardiola is keen to fill.

David Moyes has slapped a £150m price tag on Rice's head. However, in recent days, it has been reported that the 23-year-old has turned down an extension at the London Stadium.
Meanwhile, the Daily Star are reporting that City have turned down the opportunity to sign United midfielder Paul Pogba. The Frenchman is out of contract in the summer and will be a free agent.
Mino Raiola has offered Guardiola his client's services but the Blues have rejected the chance to sign him, according to reports. Juventus, PSG and Real Madrid have all been linked with the World Cup winner in recent months.
