Manchester City have warned Chelsea that it will take at least £50 million for them to sell Nathan Ake, as new Blues owner Todd Boehly aims to raid the champions taking three players.
The 27-year-old, who only joined City from Bournemouth two years ago for £40m, is wanted by Boehly and co this summer, having spent five years at Chelsea learning his trade as a youngster. Manager Thomas Tuchel is looking to rebuild his defence after the departures of Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger, with the left-footed Ake seemingly viewed as an ideal replacement.
Fresh from Boehly's £4.25 billion takeover, the Blues also want to sign his Citizens teammates Raheem Sterling and Oleksandr Zinchenko, according to the Sun, who add that Newcastle United enquired about the Netherlands international Ake earlier in the summer transfer window and were told to fork out £50m.
